Dear wanderer, you've travelled far,
haven't you?
a wisteria tree towering over a wooden table, on a hillside by the river. On the table, there is a letter envelope and some light filtering through the blossoms and leaves of the wisteria.

First zine, coming soon.
A person with short blue hair, wearing elegant shoes and starry flowy jacket, sits on a tiled floor of an abandoned room. The room is lit by a gentle pink-blue gradient light from a sunset, as seen from the open windows and door. The person is surrounded by lit candles, similar to the lighter they have lit up in their hands. They are leaning beside an antique world globe. On a nearby wall, there is a poster with the words, 'world within worlds'.

F A Q.
✧ Why do you have different names?
Generally speaking, I use the name 'Kamaeri' for visual art-related works, and 'Cin Que' as a pen name, and 'Cin' in my daily life. I'd like to acknowledge these engagements with various artforms with the use of different names.
✧ How would you like me to refer to you then? Nowadays, I prefer 'Cin' (she/her). Cin is a shortened form of my legal name. Some also know me as Eri (short for Kamaeri), which is also fine~
✧ Where are you based? South-east suburbs of Melbourne/Naarm, Australia. I was born and raised in Australia, and I've lived here all my life. My ethnic background includes Malaysian-Chinese and Timorese-Chinese.
✧ What are the artforms you pursue? I consider myself as a multidisciplinary artist;
- Illustrations (sketches, paintings, tattoo designs), Flower Arrangements and Flower Art/Sustainable Sculptures, Creative Writing, Paper Crafts (including paper-cutting).
- Lately, I have been trying to emphasise elements of texture, botanical/nature, and environmental sustainability into my artworks regardless of form. I use film photography (literal, and aesthetic) to mostly document the creative process, but occasionally delve into it more in some illustrations/paper-craft pieces.
- I have been getting into performing arts too, so you may also find me training as a Chinese Lion Dancer and practicing piano/singing.
✧ What is the concept behind this website? It's a sort of introduction to my creative identity. It has the overarching concepts of 'duality'; there's the viewing of 'scenery' and 'erasing', which is also a pun on my names, 'scenery' = 'cin-eri', 'erasing' = 'eri-cin'. 'Erasing' evokes the shadow or acts of 'erasure' that balances with the light and wonder of the 'Scenery'.
✧ What breed is your dog? Pomeranian-chihuahua (pom-chi). Her name is Mavi. I'm sure I'll always keep referencing her in my creative journey in someway or another.
